4%fat ground beef 1lbs, 1 can black beans low sodium organic, 3 cups water, 1 can french green beans preferably organic, 1tbsp cayenne pepper (opt) 1tbsp thyme, 1tbsp rosemary, 4 bunches scallions, 1 bunch fresh spinach, 1 bunch kale raw, 3 celery stalks, 2 cans fat free low sodium beef broth, sea salt taste , pepper (opt) 1 can stewed tomatoes no salt added.
fry the ground beef in a stew pot til just brown, add in the 2 cans of beef broth, then your chopped scallions,celery, green beans, black beans,stewed tomato's,then add your kale and spinach this will look very full add your water and seasonings let boil with a lid on it for approx 45 minutes the kale and spinach will shrink. this will make about 12 servings I eat it through out the day it's a great filling soup with next to know fat, cal and low on sodium and carbs too, hope you enjoy it as much as I do :-) Tonya
