Vanilla Breakfast Bulgar

Ingredients
2 1/4 cups skim (fat free) milk1 cup coarse ground bulgar1 tsp ground cinnamon1/4 tsp ground allspice1/8 tsp cardamompinch of salt2 scoops Total Soy protein powder1/2 tsp vanilla extractTruvia (or other natural sweetener to taste)
Directions
In a 2 quart saucepan heat milk over medium heat and add all ingredients except sweetener, protein powder and vanilla. Continue heating until very hot but NOT boiling, partially cover (NOT TIGHTLY!!) and reduce heat to low. Simmer, stirring occassionally for about 10 minutes. Add protein powder and vanilla, stir. Makes 6 servings. Top with sweetener, fruit, milk, soy milk, etc (keep in mind it adds calories). Enjoy!
