Beefy Hash Brown Pizza

5 cups frozen shredded hashbrown1 can cheddar cheese soup1 egg, lightly beaten1/2 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepper2 lbs. ground beef1 medium onion, chopped1 can mushroom stems and pieces1 can pizza sauce4 cups shredded pizza cheese, divided
In a bowl, combine the potatoes, soup, egg, salt and pepper. Spread mixtured into a greased 15X10X1 in baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes are until lightly browned.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, cook the beef, onion and mushrooms until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in pizza sauce; keep warm. Sprinkle 2 cups cheese over hot crust. Spread meat mixture over the top; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 5-10 mintues longer or until cheese is melted. Yield: 6-8 servings.
