Rice Krispie Cookies

Ingredients
1 Cup granulated sugar1 Cup Brown sugar1 Cup butter1 Cup Veg. oil1 eggpinch of salt1 Cup oats(not steel cut)3 1/2 Cups flour2 Cups rice krispies1 Tsp. cream of tartar1 Tsp. baking soda1 Tsp. vanilla
Directions
Cream together butter and sugars.Add oil and egg.Then mix in salt,soda,vanilla and cream of tartar.Add flour,then oats.I do all of this with my Kitchen Aid mixer with the paddle attatchment.Lastly mix in cereal,gently.Refrigerate at least 3 hrs.Roll into 1 in. balls and press down with a fork(like peanut butter cookies).Bake at 350 degrees for 10-13 min.,depending on your oven and how brown and crispy you like them.Makes approximately 100 cookies.They freeze really well.This is an excellent cookie,and now that I know how low the carbs are,I'm very happy!!
