Turkey Vegetable Tomato Soup

1 lb ground turkey1 15-oz can tomato sauce1 14.5-oz can cut green beans2 1/2 cups frozen peas2 1/2 cups frozen corn kernels5-oz water
Brown ground turkey (I add about 2 tsp garlic pepper and 1/2-1 tbsp dried onion at this point) in large soup pot.
Once brown, add tomato sauce, green beans (with liquid), peas, corn and water. You can add spices, as well (I add fresh ground pepper at this point).
Stir and heat on medium until gently simmering, then lower heat and allow to simmer for about 10 minutes (can simmer longer as preferred).
Makes 8 1-cup servings
