Lemon Basil Tuna Salad

Ingredients
1 - 7.75 oz can alabacore tuna with no added salt1/4 cup diced red onion1/4 cup diced diced celery1/8 cup diced carrots1/4 cup cucumber, pared and chopped3 small scallions with greens, chopped2 Tbs basil, fresh and chiffonade1/4 tsp fresh black pepper, ground6 Tbs fresh lemon juice
Directions
Dice red onions, celery, carrots; pare and chop cucumber; chop scallions, including greens; chiffonade approx. 4 leaves of fresh basil to equal 2 tablespoons, then combine all in a medium bowl. Add tuna by flaking into smaller pieces. Next, add the lemon juice and black pepper. Chill for at least an hour, overnight preferably.
