Ingredients
- 1 cup of skim milk or milk substitute- 2 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa (more or less to taste)- 1-2 tsp of favorite sweetener (splenda and stevia are my favorites)- a dash of cinnamon ****Optional****- tsp of pure vanilla extract- a few tbsp or 1/2 scoop of vanilla or chocolate whey protein powder (I prefer the vanilla in the mix)
Directions
Pour the cup of milk in a microwave safe mug or cup. Put it in for 1 minute or a minute and a half.

Pull it out and add in the cocoa. Make sure to stir it out real nice so there aren't any clumps.

Add in your sweetener of choice (the vanilla extract, whey, or whatever else should be added in here) and then a dash of cinnamon.

Let it cool so it won't burn and enjoy!

Added peppermint extract. Perfection in a cup.
I used monk fruit sweetener, and melted a single square of high cacao chocolate in one cup (my friend loves chocolate, me, not so much). His eyes rolled back in his head. Happy guy. - 8/30/20
