I loved this recipe. I skipped out on the breadcrumbs and added more salsa. I ate them without a bun and put avocado and lettuce on top. Instead of the normal Ketchup and Mustard, i just put some extra salsa on top. Delicious! - 2/9/09

We found the recipe needs more salsa, & the patties crumbled. For us, I've since modified it by adding more salsa, removing the bread crumbs, & serving it sloppy joe style garnished with fat free sour cream spread on the buns, jalapeno slices, & shredded low fat cheddar cheese. Now it's a favorite! - 8/3/09

    This sounds perfectly wonderful!
BTW - be careful when you buy your ground turkey. If it does not say ground turkey breast leave it in the store. Trader Joe's carries Empire ground turkey and what appears to be turkey breast is NOT 100%. Read your labels!! - 5/4/09

wonderful! I use the same thing to make meatloaf, but I sub whole oatmeal for the breadcrumbs...it is delicious, quick and keeps my guys happy. Now I can make it into burgers! - 12/16/08

If you want them to taste more like a hamburger mix in a bit of soy sauce. - 10/22/08

These are AWESOME, I have fixed them 4 times now and my husband even loves them. The more Salsa you use the better flavor. We like them without a bun.

I've tried this before and they were delicious. Then I used a different ingredient. Kraft Lite BBQ Sauce and made a BBQ turkey burger, still using the bread crumbs. This is delicious too. - 10/22/08

Delicious! We subbed wheat germ for the breadcrumbs for better nutrition. Will definitely add more salsa next time, though-- the burgers needed just a little extra kick to them. - 3/31/09

Good taste - I did add in some garlic powder. Mine seemed to crumble when I flipped them (next time I will add in an egg) - 6/9/08

My husband is the genius behind our burgers, so he made them with our 93% lean ground turkey and his regular array of seasons. I put the salsa on top and ate away - AMAZING! He's jealous he didn't think of trying them :) - 1/12/10

Great easy recipe; I used Italian seasoned bread crumbs & a mild chunky salsa, topped it of w/a slice of cheese - it was delicious. - 6/10/09

I made these for my dinner tonight. I added an egg white to mine. Since I just cook for myself, I cooked one on my George Foreman grill, and put the rest in the freezer for other meals. This was delicious on a whole wheat bun with a slice of tomato! - 8/13/09

I enjoyed mine hot off the grill. I will definitely use this recipe again. Quick and easy and was easy to prepare for just one. I think I will add some of the "sass" mentioned below next time as I like my food spicy! Thanks for the recipe! - 8/8/09

Very good burgers. My whole family loved them. Including my 3 yo and 2 yo. I added a slice of low fat cheese, and extra salsa for some more flavor. My husband ate it plain and said they were great also (and he's not a fan of turkey). - 8/30/09

I'm really not a ground turkey fan but this wasn't too bad. I added some cajun seasoning & an egg white to the meat & then topped the burger with a sauce from salsa, light Miracle Whip & sour cream. - 7/30/08

Loved this! Easy to make and very good for lunch the next day. I might add some chopped apples next time. I had a turkey burger with apples once and it was amazing. - 8/23/08

This was so easy, dinner was on the table in no time and my husband loved them to boot. Doubled the amount of salsa and threw in some oats and flax seed, along with a liberal amount of garlic and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper. Ate them open-faced on toast with sour cream and mango salsa...delicious! - 8/5/09

Added garlic & used green salsa verde. Used the 93% fat free since I had that at home. Great taste! - 8/5/08
