Turnips (Kohlrabi) soup

Ingredients
* Water, tap, 1500 mL * Turnips, 2 medium * Carrots, raw, 1 medium * Potato, raw, 1 small (1-3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.) * Olive Oil, 1 1tsp * Salt, 1 tbsp * Pepper, black, 1 tsp * Parsley, 10 sprigs * Onions, raw, 1 small
Directions
Boil cubed turnips, carrot and potato until soft. Mash well with a blender, add the salt, the chopped onion, the pepper and the olive oil. Bring to a boil, chop the parsley and add to the soup. Done!

    I messed up when reading the recipe and drained the vegetables, so I added fat free milk to make a cream soup. VERY good! - 3/5/11

    This is my first recipe to make with turnips. I guess Im just not a fan. I think if I were to make it for someone who likes turnips, I would cook the onion with the other vegetables.
