Tomato Basil Bisque

Ingredients
5 Fresh Basil leaves1 tsp Olive Oil5 Pine nuts1/2 T Parmesan Cheese1/2 tsp Lemon Juice1 14.5oz can Petite Diced Tomatoes1 tsp dried Basil1 tsp Italian Seasoning3/4 tsp Garlic Salt1/4 tsp Black PepperDash of salt1 15oz can Tomato Sauce15oz Water1/2 cup Half and Half
Directions
In a food processor, combine fresh basil leaves, olive oil, pine nuts, parmesan cheese, lemon juice, diced tomatoes, dried basil, Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and black pepper. Process until basil leaves are chopped and incorporated throughout tomatoes. Pour tomato mixture into saucepan. Add tomato sauce and water. Heat on low-medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Add dash of salt if needed, to your taste. Remove from heat and add half and half, incorporating it throughout the soup. Serves 5.

Enjoy hot, topped with parmesan cheese, fresh basil leaves, or with a small piece of bread. (Or eat it plain!)
