Simple Turkey A La King

Ingredients
2 1/2 lb bag of mixed veggies (which ever mix you like best)3 cups cubed Turkey breast (fully cooked)1 can (14.5 fl oz) chicken broth2 cups milk1 cup flour7 biscuits (I buy the frozen ones and cook them in the in the oven).
Directions
In a saucepan bring the chicken broth to a bowl. In a bowl or other container stir in the flour with the cold milk. While boiling, stir the flour-milk mixture into the chicken broth and add in the turkey breast and vegetables.

If the biscuits are not cooked, it will usually take about as long to make the turkey a la king as it does to cook the biscuits. This recipe can be kept on low for extended time if needed, or just put in a casserole dish and toss in the oven - this is a meal I prepare if I am not sure when people will be home from school events.

It was very good. We used our own homemade broth and made biscuits to go with it. We put the broth and veggies in a big pot on the stove to keep warm while the biscuits baked. - 1/1/19

This was very easy and good. I cooked it for about 15 - 20 minutes after adding the turkey and vegetables and it came back to a simmer. This may have been implied, but without doing that, it tastes a bit like raw flour and the veggies are still cold. - 2/15/13

This is about a 4+. Thanks Jeschainks! Like someone else, I added mushrooms (and sauteed celery and onion). I also gave this a couple of shots of hot sauce to brighten the flavors. One other thing, my guess is the calorie count does not include the biscuit/roll. - 11/25/12
