Gourmet French French Toast

Ingredients
Eggs, Half and Half, Sugar, Vanilla, Stale French bread (artisan)
Directions
Mix the ingredients together in a bowl.
Chill for at least 2 hours.
Pour contents into a 9" round cake pan or equivalent
Soak the bread each side for 2 min.
Let bread set on cooling rack for 1 min.
Brown each side and put the pieces on a microwaveable plate, microwave on high for 20 to 30 seconds to make sure the inside of the toast is cooked.
Service with powered sugar or maple syrup.
