Tomato Sauce, 1 cupCabbage, fresh, 1.75 cup, shreddedCelery, raw, .75 cup, diced Onions, raw, .75 cup, sliced Granulated Sugar, 1 tsp Beets, fresh, 1.5 cup Cider Vinegar, .5 tbsp Dill weed, dried, .5 tbsp Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, 5 cup Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
Combine consommé, tomato sauce, cabbage, celery, onion, and water in pot and bring to a boil. Simmer mixture until vegetables are tender. Add beets, sugar, vinegar, and dill and simmer about 10 minutes. A dollop of light sour cream to 'garnish.'
