* Onions, raw, 6 small (remove) * Garlic, 6 clove (remove) * Butternut Squash, 5 cup, cubes (remove) * Lentils, 1 cup (remove) * Beans, white, 1 cup (remove) * Carrots, raw, 4 medium (remove) * *Ancient Harvest Traditional Whole Grain Quinoa, 1 serving =.25 cup dry, 1 cup (remove) * Split Peas, 2 cup (remove) * Water, tap, 5000 mL (remove) * Olive Oil, 3 tbsp (remove) * Pepper, black, 4 tbsp (remove) * Salt, 1 tbsp (remove) * Ginger Root, 24 tsp (remove)
Dice the onions, finely chop ginger and garlic, sautee in pan with a little oil until the onions are carmelizing and bottom of pan is going dark!
Add diced squash and all other ingredients.
Bring to boil.
Simmer on low for 3 - 4 hours, stirring occasionally, until legumes are done.
Makes about 15 portions.
