"Masala" for Masala dosa

Russet potatoes - 3, boiled, peeled and mashed coarselywhite onion - 1 medium- sliced4-5 hot green chillies - slit halfway10-15 curry leaves1 tsp urad dal1 tsp chana dal2 tsp oil1 tsp ghee1/2 tsp mustard seeds1/2 tsp turmeric1/4 cup coriander leaves
heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds when hot.
let them crackle. add urad and chana dal.
saute 2-3 min on medium heat till daals turn golden brown
add sliced onions,turmeric, green chillies and curry leaves
cook 10-2 min on medium till onions are translucent and cooked
add some water, salt and mashed potatoes.
mix well. cover and cook for 2 min
add ghee, chopped coriander leaves and serve with Dosa and chutney
