Sandy's Cranberry Sauce Muffins

Ingredients
1 cup flour1/2 cup whole wheat flour1/2 cup white sugar3/4 cup brown sugar (or a mix of demera and golden sugar, whatever you've got on hand)1 tbsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt 1 can = 348 ml = 1 1/2 cups cranberry sauce1/2 cup milk1/2 cup apple sauce ( = 111 g container) (original recipe called for 1/3 cup oil here)1 egg
Directions
Heat oven to 400°F. Line muffin tin with paper baking cups.
In a large bowl, combine flours, sugar/brown sugar(s), baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well. In medium bowl, combine cranberry sauce, milk, apple sauce and egg; blend well. Fold into dry ingredients all at once; stir until dry ingredients are moistened.

Fill muffin cups about three-quarters full.

Bake 20 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 15 standard sized muffins.
