Green Lentil, Potato and Ham soup

Lentils, 1.32 cup Olive Oil, 2 tspOnions, raw, 1 large Carrots, raw, 2 medium Garlic, 2 clove1 Bay LeafRosemary, dried, .25 tsp 8 oz Potato, raw,1/4 tbsp Tomato PasteSmoked Ham, 4 oz Water, tap, 2 cup 4 cups chicken stocksalt and pepper to tastechopped fresh parsley to garnish
1. Rinse lentils
2. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan. Add onion, garlic and carrots. Cover and cook until onions are softened 3-5 min. Stir frequently.
3. Add lentils, water, bay leaf, rosemary and bring to boil. Simmer for 10 min.
4. Add stock, potatos, tomato paste and ham. Bring back to simmer for 25-30 min until veggies are tender.
5. Season to tast with salt and pepper and remove bay leaf. Garnich with parsley and serve.
