French Onion Soup (no bread or cheese)

Ingredients
2 tbs butter1 tbs olive oil6 sliced large yellow onions or 3 very large sweet onions (vidalia, etc.)1 tbs flour4 can 14 oz each beef broth, fat free, low sodium
Directions
Heat oil and butter over low heat, add sliced onions; cook for 30 - 40 minutes until onions are soft but not brown.
add the flour and stir for 2 minutes
slowly add the beef broth - stirring. Bring to a boil
cover, reduce to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
