French Onion Soup

Ingredients
# Onions, raw, 10 medium (2-1/2" dia) # *Beef Broth - Swanson, 64 oz # *Dry White Wine, 0.25 cup # Butter, unsalted, 3 tbsp # Whiskey, 2 fl oz # *Wheat flour, white, bread, enriched, 1 cup
Directions
slice onions. saute onions with butter for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle in flour and cook another 2-3. Off heat mix in 1/2 beef broth and stir. Return to heat and blend whiskey, wine and remaining broth. Simmer for 20 minutes. Makes 8 1.5 cup servings.
