Cream of Broccoli Soup

Ingredients
1 Stick of Margarine1 med. onion1 cup chopped celery2 cups water2 Tbsp Chicken soup base2 cans cream of celery soup2 cans cream of potato soup2 cups half and half1 cup mildsalt, pepper, parsley to taste
Directions
1 Stick of Margarine
1 med. onion
1 cup chopped celery
Add chopped broccoli stems (1 large bunch, reserve flowerettes)
2 cups water
2 Tbsp Chicken soup base
Cook until tender
Add flowerettes
2 cans cream of celery soup
2 cans cream of potato soup
2 cups half and half
1 cup mild
salt, pepper, parsley to taste
Simmer until cooked
Freezes well.
