    I'm making this for the third time today, and realized I've never left a comment. It is delicious!! I cut the lentils to a half cup, because that is plenty for us. I don't even use the slow cooker, and it works great on the stovetop in less time. I also cook my own ham bone for the broth. Yummy!! - 5/3/12
