Broiled Mustard Steak

Ingredients
4-6 oz pieces beef tenderloin, raw1/2 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon black pepper2 tablespoons green onion, chopped2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
Directions
1. Preheat broiler. Spray a broiler-pan rack with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Trim any fat from the steaks. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Wash onion and mince bulb finely; set aside. Mix together the mustard and minced onion.
4. Place steaks on the broiler pan rack, and broil 5 to 6 inches from heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
5. Spread top side of steaks with half of the mustard-onion mixture and broils for another 2 minutes.
6. Turn steaks over and broils for another 4 to 5 minutes.
7. Spread top side of steaks with remaining mustard-onion mixture and broil for another 2 minutes, or until desired donesness.
8. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
