1 lb (16oz) of 93 % extra lean ground beef1 can (15 oz) of tomato sauce with chuncks of tomatos8 oz of pasta (any kind)1/2 C of onion chopped1/2 C of peppers chopped (green or yellow)1/2 C of frozen peas1/2 C of mushrooms chooped2 Tbsp of paprika1 Tbsp of garlic powderdash of ginger1/2 C of water2 oz of mozzarella cheese part skim shredded
1. Make pasta according to package and set aside
2. Cook ground beef until no longer pink, drain beef and run under hot water (this removes extra grease). Return to pan.
3. Add veggies and cook till simi tender. Add spices then tomato sauce and water. Bring to a boil and simmer about 10 min.
4. Mix with noodles.
5. sprinkle with cheese
I serve this with salad
