Red Lentil Morrocan Soup (sodium reduced)

1 tbsp becel no salt margarine1 onion, chopped3 cloves of garlic, crushed1 1/2 tsp cumin4 cups vegetable broth (homemade with no salt)1 cup water1 carrot, chopped1 celery stock, chopped1 onion, chopped1 cup dry red lentils,split1 tsp lemon juice1 tbsp Franks Red hot sauce2 tsp cilantro (fresh)
melt margarine in fry pan. add onions and garlic and cook approx. 5 min until onions are glassy. add cumin and cook for 1 min.
In a crock pot or stock pot add vegetable broth, water, onions, lentils, carrots, and celery. cook for 30 min on the sstove or on low in the crock pot for 4 hours. use an immersable blender to cream soup or add small portions to a blender . add Franks red hot sauce, lemon and cilantro.
Those that like a bit more fire in their soup can add more Franks until hot enogh.
Serve with multigrain crackers.
