Indian Crockpot Chicken

Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 2 1/2 pounds)1/2 stick I Can't Believe It's Not Butter 1 6-oz. can tomato paste1 16-oz. bag frozen peas & carrots3/4 lb. dried garbanzo beans, cooked1 medium onion, chopped2 t. minced garlic3 T. garam masala1 T. paprika1 T. curry powder15 black cardamom pods, strung together on thread
Directions
Using a strong needle and thread, string together cardamom pods. Place chicken in bottom of slow cooker. Cut up butter into cubes and cover chicken. Cover with remaining ingredients. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. When chicken is fully cooked (about 6-7 hours), remove from cooker and cut or shred into smaller pieces. Return chicken to cooker and stir; cook for another 30-60 minutes. Serves 8.
