Ingredients
half a large cabbage head shredded2 tbsp oil1 tsp mustard seeds 1/2 tsp cumin seeds1/4 tsp hing1/2 tsp turmeric 3 green chillies sliced5-6 curry leavessalt1/4 cup chana dal soaked for 1 hour and drainedsugar 1/2 tsp
Directions
temper mustard seeds, cumin, hing, turmeric, curry leaves and green chillies in oil

add chana dal. saute 2-3 min

add 1/2 cup water, salt and sugar, let it boil
add all the cabbage, mix well, cover and cook 15-20 min till completely done

garnish with coriander leaves and fresh grated coconut
serve with roti
