Quick Apple Dumplings

Ingredients
2 - granny smith apples, peeled and cored1 - 8 count can of refrigerated crescent rolls1/4 tps- cinnamon1 stick - butter or margarine1 cup - sugar1 cup - orange juice1 tps - vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut apples in fourths. Separate rolls. Wrap each piece of apple into each roll. Place in 8-inch square pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Mix margarine/butter, sugar, orange juice into sauce pan. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and pour over rolls. Bake for 30 minutes. Spoon liquid over rolls and serve.
