creamy yam soup (no milk)

Ingredients
2 yams4 leeks, white part only1 can tomatoes3 sun dried tomatoes10 basil leaves or to taste4 c chicken brothBlack pepper to taste
Directions
Cut up yams and leeks and boil in chicken broth. When soft, put cup by cup in blender with tomatoes and seasonings. Puree as you go. If it is too stiff, add a little more water or chicken broth or tomatoes.
Makes about 8 servings, depending on the size of the yams.
Very filling. Lots of fiber.
If you are making it for one person, use one yam and two leeks.
