Italian Lentil and Barley Soup

Ingredients
1/2 cup lentils1/6 cup pearl barley1/2 cup carrots chopped1/2 cup celery chopped1/2 cup onion chopped4 ripe roma tomatoes chopped and raw2 tsp Italian Seasoning 1 clove garlic or 1.5 tsp minced garlic 1/2 bay leaf2 cups broth1 cup water
Directions
What I used for broth was to take a skinless boneless chicken breast and boil it in water with a little (1/3 tsp) perfect pinch salt free garlic and herb spice. the liquid was then used for the soup.
Mix all ingrediants together, except vinegar, and place into crock pot on low for 12 - 14 hours
Add vinegar just before serving..
