Andrea's Chai Tea

Ingredients
2 cups water4 black tea bags (I use Lipton)1/4 cup Honey1/2 tsp Vanilla extract5 cloves1 cardamom pod (split open)1 cinnamon stick1/4 tsp ground gingerpinch nutmeg2 cups milk (1%)
Directions
1) Bring water to a boil.
2) Add tea bags, honey, vanilla, cloves, cardamom pod, cinnamon stick, ginger, and nutmeg.
3) Simmer for 5 minutes.
4) Add milk. Bring to a boil.
5) Once it begins to boil, remove from heat. Strain through a sieve.
6) Serve hot in mugs or travel mugs (Should nearly fill 2 travel mugs).

Optional: Before serving, fill mugs with ice. Pour Chai over ice for a cool beverage-it will not be as strong.

Serving Size: Makes 2 "large" servings, or 4 "small" servings
