Red Cabbage Hot Salad

Ingredients
One medium head of red cabbage3 medium or 2 large red onions2 Tablespoons olive oil.75 cup of balsamic vinegar
Directions
Shred the red cabbage after coring it and add water to about .75 of cabbage height. Boil for about 15min. Drain off most of the cooking liquid. In a frying pan cut up the red onions and saute with the olive oil till onions are opaque. Then add them to the drained cabbage. Add the balsamic vinegar and toss well. Store in fridge or if you can not use up in 3 wks store in freezer. I have done both and it worked well.
