Quinoa with Mushrooms and Sausage (organic)

Ingredients
QuinoaSausage patties - with a lot of spice, Thompson OrganicMushroom - variety of sliced mushrooms (good protein)Vegetable broth (for the quinoa)Water (for the quinoa)1 tsp of olive oil for the mushroomsSpices - whatever you want
Directions
Make the quinoa (use vegetable broth and water - adds flavor)
While quinoa is cooking, saute the sausage patties. Add in the mushrooms (they will cook down). Cook together for about 10 minutes.
Add in seasoning. I had in red pepper, a little garlic powder, and pepper/salt to taste.
After the quinoa is done (about 15-20 minutes, wait for the grain to pop open), mix the quinoa into the sausage and mushrooms - stir, let heat through, serve.

Serving Size: Makes 8 servings (about 1/2 a cup each)
