Portobello Steaks and mashed potatoes

2-3 large portobello mushrooms, 3 cups diced potatoes, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/3 c balsamic, 2 cloves garlic, pepper, salt, dried basil to taste, 1 tbsp nutritional yeast, 1/4 c almond milk
marinate whole mushrooms for 30-40 minutes in oil, vinegar and spices, while mushrooms marinate, boil potatoes (i like them skins on) until tender. drain and set aside.
grill mushrooms on George Foreman Grill or in a pan with oil reservoirs.
using a fork or potato masher, mash potatoes with earth balance, almond milk and salt. whip if desired.
place grill mushrooms face up on a cookie sheet and top with a large dallop of potatoes, sprinkle nutritional yeast and broil for 3 minutes.
