Gumbo with Andouille sausage and shrimp

Ingredients
8 oz Andouille (or other smoked) sausage, chopped or sliced (depends on how chunky you want it)12 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined (I use frozen cooked)2 C onion, chopped2 C celery, chopped2 C bell pepper, chopped4 C fresh okra, sliced (frozen works too)1 large zuchinni, diced4 cloves garlic, minced2 Tbsp butter (for sauteeing, optional)3 C fresh tomatoes, chopped OR 15 oz can crushed tomatofresh green chile or jalapeno, minced, to taste1 tsp file powder1 Tbsp Seafood Magic seasoning (by Chef Paul Prudhomme)1-2 tsp dried oreganored pepper flakes, salt & pepper to tasteOptional : add chicken, corn, red beans, crab, crawdad, greens
Directions
Melt butter in soup pot, add onion, celery, green chile, garlic and sausage (can add raw chicken at this point if using)
Cook until onions are translucent and tender.
Add bell pepper and zuchinni, until just tender.
Add spices to taste.
Add broth, okra and tomatoes.
Simmer 10 - 15 min.
Add shrimp 5 min before serving ( you don't want them overcooked) - crab or crawdad meat can be add here too.
Serve on rice, quinoa or your grain of choice.
