Cajun Sausage and Rice

Ingredients
Turkey Smoked Sausage, 8 oz sliced thinTomatoes, diced, no salt added, 1 can undrainedOnions, raw, 1 medium choppedCelery, raw, 2 stalk, sliced thinGranulated Chicken Boullion, Very Low Sodium, 1 TbsSteak Sauce - 1TablespoonThyme, ground, 1 tsp or 3 Bay LeavesSugar, 1 tsp Hot Pepper Sauce, .50 tsp Beans, black, 1 can rinsed well and drainedGreen Peppers 1 cup, chopped Instant Whole Grain Brown Rice, 1 cup Parsley, 1 tbsp dried or 1/2 cup finely chopped
Directions
Combine all ingredients EXCEPT rice and parsley in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low 8 hrs or High 4 hrs. Remove bay leaves if using, stir in rice and 1/2 cup water. Cover and cook until rice is done 25 - 40 min (cooking time varies). Stir in parsley if desired.
