1/2 cup margarine or shortening1 c packed brown sugar1 c white sugar2 eggs1/2 cup sour milk2 c. white flour4 tbsp unsweetened dry cocoa powder2 tsp baking soda1/4 tsp baking powderdash salt1 c boiling water1 tsp vanilla extractDirections: Sift together flour, cocoa, soda, powder and salt until well mixed, set aside. Cream margarine, sugars, eggs and sour milk. Gradually add and mix dry mixture to batter until homogenous. Pour 1 cup of boiling water into batter while mixing on "stir" or "low". Add vanilla and mix slowly until smooth and even consistency. Batter will be very thin. Frost with Easy Penache Brown Sugar Frosting.
Bake in 9X13 greased cake pan at 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until toothpick pulls out clean.
