Pickled Papaya (Guam Style)

1 medium size papaya (green)2 to 3 cups of white distilled vinegar3 cloves fresh chopped garlicSalt Accent2 chopped hot peppers
Slice your papaya into thin slices
Salt wash your papaya (just rub the salt in) and let it set out in a bowl for ˝ hr to 1 hr
Rinse papaya and drain water.
Mix all other ingredients in a separate bowl
Add papaya slices
Papaya is ready to eat or can be stored in the refrigerator
