Ingredients
Directions
3 lbs pork baby back ribs (cut into 2-4 sections)1 cup ketchup1/4 cup vinegar3 tbsp brown sugar3 tbsp Worchestershire Sauce1 tsp liquid smoke1/2 tsp salt
Place ribs in a large pot with water to cover. Bring to a boil and reduce to low; simmer 1 hour.
Meanwhile, combine the rest of the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occassionally.
Place meat (meat side down) on a broiler pan. Brush ribs with half the sauce and broil 4-5 inches from the heat for 6-7 minutes. Turn the ribs over, brush with the rest of the sauce; broil 6-7 minutes or until the edges are a bit charred.
Alternatively, in the summer, you can use the barbeque for the last stage of cooking (in lieu of the broiler).
