Heart Healthy & Creamy Brown Rice Pudding

Ingredients
2C whole grain brown rice (cooked)1C skim milk1/2C fat free half and half1/2C sugar free maple syrup1tsp Vanilla Extract1tsp cinnamondash of nutmeg (optional)fat free cool whip (optional) not included above
Directions
In pan add milk, cream, syrup and rice... bring to a boil.
Lower heat and simmer 20 min.
Add vanilla, spices and stir.

Either let cool or serve warm with whipped topping (optional)
