Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

1/4 cup butter1/2 cup White Northern Beans1 cup brown sugar1/2 cup white sugar1 egg1/4 cup water1 tsp vanilla1 tsp cinnamon1 tsp salt1/2 tsp baking soda3 cups oatmeal1 cup whole wheat flour1 cup craisins or raisins
Drain and mash beans then cream with butter.
Cream together first 9 ingredients. Add flour and oatmeal. Add craisins or raisins.
Mix well and spoon on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 13 to 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
Note: cooked white beans is a substitute for shortening, making the cookie taste more natural, rather than adding yogurt, etc. and cutting the fat content.
