Brussel Sprouts Au Gratin

1 pound of fresh brussel sprouts, peeled and stems cut offPinch of red peeper flakesPinch of black pepper1/4 cup milk 1/4 cup grated parmesan1/2 Tbsp butter, melted1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs--I used panko
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Boil brussel sprouts in a pot, barely covered with water, for 8-10 minutes. Drain, and coarsley chop brussel sporuts. Spray a 2 qt dish with non-stick cooking spray. Put sprouts in dish. Toss with red pepper flakes and pepper. Pour milk over sprouts and then top with cheese. Melt butter and mix with bread crumbs and place on top of cheese. Bake 15 minutes.

This is good! Also then did version, (brussels in dish,almond milk poured on top, sprinkled with Al Fresco bacon (2),chopped date (1) , thyme, nutmeg, covered and baked at 400 till soft, don't need to precook sprouts this way. Requested dish in family and a favorite way to cook brussel sprouts, - 3/2/17
