Homemade Creamy Tomato Soup

Ingredients
Passata, 24oz (700 gram/ml) bottleStewed Tomatoes, Canned, No salt, 2 1/2 CupsOlive Oil, 1 tblspnTomato Paste, 2 tblspnChicken stock, home-prepared, 3 cupsGarlic powder, 1/2 tsp Carrots, raw, 2 medium, chopped finelyOnions, raw, 2 medium, chopped finelyGranulated Sugar, 1 tblspnLight Cream (coffee cream or table cream), 1/3 cupPepper, black, 1 tsp
Directions
In a pot cook the onion and carrot in the olive oil for @ 5 minutes. Add all other ingredients except the cream and simmer for @ 15 minutes. Blend with a stick blender and strain through a sieve (you can leave it if you don't want it strained) add the cream and serve.
