2.5 cups flour6 eggs1 cup cottage cheesedash of salt1/3 cup margarine 1/2 cup chopped onion(optional- 6 crushed saltine crackers)
mix flour, eggs, cottage cheese and salt. It will make a dumpling dough and drop in boiling water by heaping teaspoonfulls. Boil until they float. About 3 min. Drain. In a fry pan melt 1/3 cup margarine and saute 1/2 cup chopped onion (optional- 3 crushed saltine crackers) Add dumplings and brown lighly. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
