Spicy Yam Soup

Ingredients
4 TBSP butter2 yellow onions2 tsp minced garlic2 tsp curry powder1/2 tsp ground corianderpinch cayenne pepper5 cups chicken broth45 oz. canned yams in light syrup2.5 cups milksalt to taste
Directions
Melt butter, saute sliced onions and garlic until soft. Add chicken broth, yams, and spices. Bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer and add milk. Simmer for 15 minutes. Transfer to blender in batches, or use immersion blender to blend.
