Oven-barbacued Shrimp

4 slices bacon, chopped fine1/4 lb margarine2 tbl dijon mustard1 12 tsp chili powder1/4 tsp basil1/4 tsp thymedash liquid smoke1 tsp pepper1/2 tsp oregano2 cloves garlic, grated3 tbl Old Bay seasoning1 tbl tabasco1 1/2 lb large shrimp (in shell)3 cups (dry) white rice, steamed
Preheat oven to 375. Steam rice. Fry bacon, drain and then add all the ingredients except for shrimp and rice. Cook over medium, mixing well, for five minutes.
Place shrimp (with shells on) in a baking dish. Pour sauce onto shrimp, mixing well to coat all of them. Spread into a single layer and bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Serve hot over rice, peeling as you go.
