Pauline's Apple Crisp

Ingredients
Filling7 Medium Apples1 tbsp lemon juice1 tsp vanilla3 tbsp flour or tapioca 1/2 cup packed brown sugar2 tbsp cinnamonTopping1 cup oats1 cup packed brown sugar1/3 cup flour1/4 cup walnuts 1/2 cup melted butter
Directions
Filling:
Peel and core apples, cut into thin small pieces. In mixing bowl add apples, lemon juice and vanilla, mix. Separately mix together flour, brown sugar and cinnamon, then mix in with apples. Pour into buttered 9 x 12 baking dish.

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees.

Topping:
Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over top of apples.

Bake for 40-45 minutes on center rack.

Optional toppings: Whip Cream, Ice Cream or drizzle Carmel Sauce over top (not Included in Calories)

Serving Size: 8 (Cut into 8 equal squares)
