French Onion Soup

Ingredients
2 medium onions, sliced2 T Margarine6 t beef soup base1 C dry vermouth6 C water6 slices provolone cheese
Directions
Saute sliced onions in margarine in a large pot. Cook until carmelized. Add water, beef base and vermouth. Simmer about 20 min. Serve in an oven proof bowl. Top with cheese and place under broiled until cheese bubbles.
