Ingredients
Directions
1 large can Chunk Light Tuna1 large can Albacore Tuna1 cup chopped onion ( chop finely )1 cup chopped celery1/3 cup dried cranberries- chopped1/2 cup fat-free mayonnaise1/2 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. black pepper
This is my absolute favorite tuna salad! I've cut out using pickle relish and opted for dried cranberries- yum!
- Drain each can of tuna. I prefer to use one can chunk light ( for the pocket book ) and one can Albacore ( for the flavor ).
-Finely chop one medium onion- I prefer red.
-Chop celery
-Run your knife through the cranberries
-Combine above ingredients and add mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
-Mix well and let chill for an hour- or not! It's super yummy on lightly toasted whole wheat bread with a slice of low-fat cheese. I make a large amount at the beginning of each week to take for lunch and rescue me on those nights I don't feel like cooking. Enjoy!
