Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
1 pound ground meat or ground turkey2 large leeks, cleaned, sliced4 cloves of garlic, chopped3 medium carrots, trimmed, sliced1 cup baby peas- frozen, thawed, is fine1 14-oz can Muir Glen fire roasted tomatoes, with juice1/2 cup red wine2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar1 teaspoon raw sugar1 teaspoon dried thyme2 teaspoons dried basil1 teaspoon dried rosemary1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley1/2 teaspoon cinnamonSea salt and ground pepper, to taste6 small to medium red potatoes, peeled and dicedSea salt and ground pepper, to tasteA drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, to taste
Directions
Cook the potatoes separately. Place the meat mixture in the casserole pan and then top with the potatoes. Bake at 350 for about 25-30 minutes.
