Cabbage Patch Stew

1 pound lean ground beef1 cup chopped onion2 celery ribs , chopped11 cups chopped cabbage (approx. 2 lbs.)2 cans (14 1/2 oz. ea.) stewed tomatoes1 can (10 oz.) diced tomatoes with green chilies1 can (15 oz.) pinto beans1 - 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder1/2 tsp. dried oregano1/2 tsp. pepper1/4 tsp. salt
In a large skillet cook beef, onion, celery over medium heat til meat is no longer pink and vegies are tender. Drain.
Transfer to a 5 quart slow cooker and add the rest of the ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until cabbage is tender.
